Enrollment links: What they are and how to add them

When an employee accepts their ICHRA benefits, they'll need to enroll in a qualifying individual health plan. If you're the Agent of Record (AOR) in a state, the enrollment link you add for that state is where the portal sends your client's employees who live there to shop.

Before you start

• Only Organization Admins can add or change enrollment links.
• Links are set for your whole brokerage, one link per state. They aren't set per agent.
• You can only add links for the states you've selected as licensed under AOR preferences.

How to add enrollment links

1. Sign in at dashboard.stretchdollar.com.
2. In the left sidebar, click AOR Setup. This opens Enrollment Links & States.
3. Open AOR preferences and choose where you'll be the Agent of Record:
   • We'll act as AOR for specific states: StretchDollar will serve as AOR for any states you don't cover.
   • We'll act as AOR for all states: your brokerage is AOR in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
   • StretchDollar will act as AOR for all states: you don't need to add any links.
   If you chose specific states, select every state where your brokerage holds an active health producer license, then click Save preferences.
4. Open Enrollment links. Under Your States, paste the enrollment URL for each state into its row. Each link saves automatically when you click away.

Adding the same link to lots of states? Use Bulk Update: paste the URL, choose which states to apply it to (for example All missing, or all State-Based Marketplace states), then click Apply.

If you see "Enter a valid URL.", check that the link is complete and starts with https://.

Clients in state-based marketplace states

Some states, like California (Covered California), Pennsylvania (Pennie), Kentucky (kynect), New Jersey, New York and Illinois, run their own marketplace instead of using HealthCare.gov. To find them fast, use the SBM filter in Your States (or FFM for HealthCare.gov states).

Which link should I add? For state-based marketplace states, add the enrollment link for that state's exchange yourself, such as your agent link for Covered California or Pennie.

If you don't add a link for one of these states, employees there will be guided to StretchDollar's standard shopping experience. This may include the off-exchange marketplace as well as the state-based marketplace, if the employee is looking for expanded options.

How to update or remove a link

1. Go to AOR Setup → Enrollment links.
2. To change a link, replace the URL in that state's row and click away to save.
3. To remove links, select the states and click Remove selected. Clearing the field on its own doesn't remove a link.

Update your links when a marketplace URL changes, you add a newly licensed state, or your agency changes its enrollment URL.

FAQ

What happens if I leave a state blank?

Employees in that state are sent to StretchDollar's standard shopping experience for their state.

Do enrollment links update automatically?

No. Your organization keeps its enrollment links current.

Is this the same as my quote link or an employee invite?
