Broker Assignments: Why a Broker Can't See an Employee
For agents: If a broker says “I don’t see that employee,” check assignment before anything else.
How visibility works
- Employee must exist on the employer roster (Employer Admin adds/invites them).
- A Broker Admin must assign that employee to the broker (Partner Portal → Broker Assignments, typically via spreadsheet import).
- Until assigned, the employee will not show in that broker’s Enrolled / In Progress lists.
Broker Admins can generally see org-scoped employees; individual brokers are limited to their assignments.
Notes
- Assignment tooling is used for certain partner programs (for example, Gallagher-style broker programs). If your agency doesn’t use Broker Assignments, escalate to support rather than inventing a workflow.
- Import failures are usually bad emails/IDs that don’t match the roster — fix the spreadsheet and re-import.
